It have been hard for me sometimes when I try to save money when the next thing I do is buy this cute earring I saw. What should I do to save every single penny I have?|||Well get a savings account and make sure you put money on there. An auto transfer or paycheck deduction is a good way to make it gets done before you actually get the money.
Make sure you are buying things that you actually need. Ask yourself...."do I really need these earrings (or whatever)?" If you think about long enough you will probably discover that you do not and that the money would probably be better spent put into a savings account or to buy something that you truly need.|||You can automatically deduct it from your paycheck if spending it is your problem.
Set up a savings account at your bank and ask for a direct deposit form from your employer, then fill out $100 or whatever you want to save every paycheck and you will never see the money.
At least you have identified the problem and trust me once you see your balance grow and the better stuff you can afford then you won't be tempted by earrings. Good luck!|||1. Open a money market or high yield savings account. Make sure you're getting at least 5% interest right now.
2. Then set up automatic investment--the savings account will take $100 (or however much) from your checking account each month.
3. Stop shopping for fun. Stay away from the mall and shopping websites--get another hobby. Go to the park instead (or the gym or the bookstore, etc). You won't be tempted if you're not shopping.|||鈥?Stop carrying around your credit card. Leave it at home.
鈥?Return the useless stuff, like the earring, to the store for a refund.
鈥?Carry around only a small amount of cash, enough for carfare home and a snack, so you can't spend a lot easily.
鈥?Get your employer to direct-deposit your paycheck into the bank, part into checking and a part into savings. The checking goes for food and rent. The savings you don't touch.|||everytime you spend over your limit you have to give me 100 dollars.
