What are some ideas on ways to save money in everyday living?

We are having trouble with our budget and I need to know how to save money in absolutely every way possible! What does everyone do to save money? Thanks!|||-Get rid of the cable television

-Get rid of the Internet

-Get rid of Netflix

-No vacations

-Eat out once or twice a month, if not less

-No coffee. If you *must* have coffee, make your own at home- don't go to Starbucks or any coffee shop

-Drink water, no pop

-Walk or ride a bike for small errands instead of driving- we could all use the exercise, anyway!

-Don't drink alcohol. If you do, then do it at home, not in a bar

-Only buy meat on sale and don't make elaborate, exotic dishes- that homemade Chicken Vindaloo, samosas and basmati rice can cost as much or more as if you went to a restaurant!

-Mow your own lawn and do your own landscaping

-Change the oil in your own car

-Get rid of the "toys"-the motorcycle, boat, RV, etc.

-Launder and iron your own clothes

-Stop smoking

-Get rid of text messaging and video/internet service on your cell phone

Hope this helps!|||ok here are some ways to buy cheap save and be ecofriendly.

OK, all for now! Hope some help :)|||Pay attention to your cash flow. Write down everything you spend (everyone in the household).

Cut your cell phone plan. talk to people when it doesn't cost you anything.

eat more frequent but smaller meals. You won't be as hungry (I eat 300 calories 6 times a day. I'm never hungry. I used to eat 1800 calories AT DINNER!)

Combine trips out of the house to save time and fuel.|||1. Always make your own lunch

2. Cut back on luxury items (netflix, premium cable etc)

3. Plan weekly menu around sale items at grocery store

4. Start eating more grain, legume and vegetable based meals|||It sounds bad but I download movies illegally through bittorrent. Movies and even Hollywood Video rentals are just too expensive right now.
