How can I save money on my beer comsumption?

I drink a lot every night, and it costs me quite a bit,

Aside from drinking keystone out of a can,

What other ways can I save money?

And no, I'm not gonna stop drinking either!|||One of the best ways to cut the cost of any retail purchase is to buy in a large enough quantity to get a wholesale price, or at least a price break.

You could, for instance, go to your local store and ask them if they will give you "a large-quantity purchase price break."

If you pay, say $7 per six-pack, and a case has four six-packs in it, that would be (at full price) $7 times 4, or $28 for a case. But if you buy, say 10 cases, instead of charging you the full $280, they may give you a 10% discount, so you would pay only $262. I don't know what the mark-up is on beer, so maybe you could get, say, 15 - 20 % off; I don't know.

The good thing is the discount saves you money.

The bad thing is that you have to pay up front for beer you will drink later, and you have to have a cool place to store the beer at your home.|||dont drink beer|||Try to pass out early....|||Drink potato vodka and moon shine|||get a keg, or drink the cheap stuff, that's about it. Also buy as large of an amount as you can in one package i.e. 24 packs.|||learn to make home brew|||Bong hits.|||Try brewing your own - my Dad does it and saves loads of money. Tastes pretty good too! Plus it'd be a fun hobby. There are special brew shops you can buy brew kits at, you could maybe google it (or yellow pages) for shops in your area. You can also buy some of the stuff from supermarkets, but not the whole kit. Might cost a bit to start up, but be well worth the money in the long run.

Good luck, and happy drinking!!|||I would say drinking Miller High Life (or Miller High Life Light) would help. They are less costly than other Miller products, and they still taste good.|||Buy a keg-er-rator.

Easy to build. Old frig- do not go thru the side - only the front.

Keg apparatus installed in the front door

Lots of room for the keg in the old frig.

Lots of room for frosty glasses in the freezer.

You will need 2 different taps: American and European.

We used European more, cuz we like Heineken and microbrews.|||Heh... it's kinda sad but I do have advice for ya. Keep in mind drinking too much and too often will mess up your life (and your weight). Trust me I know

Anyway.. my husband and I like drinking Bud Ice 40 oz bottles, which cost $1.89+ tax around here. Quite affordable and decent taste IMO.

If you can stand Miller (high life for example) those are usually pretty cheap. Also, sometimes if I am really short on cash, I buy "high gravity" beer such as "Evil Eye" or "Hurricane" lager. Those cost about $1.24 per 24 oz around here. It's not the best tasting stuff, but it does get the job done...

But honestly, you should probably just stock up on hard liquor whenever you can. It tastes better, it has less calories per serving, and it gets you f*cked up so much faster and more efficient. Just my opinion....|||Have you had a go at brewing your own? It costs a bit to set up initially, but once you get the one you like it works out really cost effective. you can get brewing kits at the local supermarkets here in Australia. Don't know about other countries?|||You really should stop drinking it would be better for you and everyone around you. However if you feel you must perhaps you could try brewing your own. I'm sure there are websites that could tell you how. Try googling brewing beer diy.|||all the people that think home brewing is cheaper are retarded, id say buy 1/4 kegs, the half kegs are too big for one person the beer goes flat after a few days. Get a small fridge, keg-er-rators cost way to much and buy high life|||brew your own and put it into bottles, not kegs.... we were bored one winter and did several cases. it is easy and alot cheaper. it will keep you out of trouble and give you a hobby Mr. Yak|||By Natural Light! You can get a case of it for $8.00. It is popular for the college kids because it is so cheap. Also I dunno if Keystone beer is imported, but if it is, buy domestic beer because it is cheaper!

Happy drinking and have a beer for me. I am having a Coor's Light now!!!!!!!!!|||haha find something cheaper, if thats possible and steal other peoples beer. and i know drinking is out of the ? i agree|||brew your own|||Switch over to hard liquor! You can get some rot gut for around $7 for a fifth. It takes much less to get you drunk.|||Drink beer and then a glass of water.... alternate first a beer and then a flass of water.

Question - do you drink at home or at a bar? If it's at a bar then buy a case and take it home - it's much cheaper.

If you are drinking for the buzz then buy yourself a cheap bottle of rum or vodka and do shots and beer (at home).

Remember: don't drive - DRINK!|||wine in a box,,it goes a long way

but, I just cut down to one beer a night
