How can I save money at disney world?|||It can be cheaper to stay near WDW. However, you need to include Ground Transportation into your figures. WDW does have what they call economy motels "on Property", and they're not to badly priced. However, they do book-up fast. Staying "on Property" allows you to take advantage of their Ground Transportation.





Also, when considering the hotel/motel, how long are you actually in the room? Why pay more for what you're not really using.





The web-site says that you cannot bring food into the Parks. Well, actually you can. As long as you don't get crazy (don't try bringing in a whole chicken and a 2-liter bottle of soda!), small snacks and small bottles of water are permisiable.





Also, regarding food, many hotels/motels have breakfast included, but watch-out! Some call a danish %26amp; coffee breakfast.

Ticket-wise, the longer you stay, the cheaper the Per-Day costs. It's not uncommon that with a 5-day pass the 5th day ends up being free.





Bring your own camera, batteries, and film (if you still use film). These supplies are really expensive on property.





Souvenirs -- think twice before buying. Yes, get something from your visit there, but don't buy on impulse. Ask yourself this simple question, "Can I not live with-out it?". Usually (as an adult), the answer is, "Yes, I can live without it". However, since this is a vacation, go ahead and get 1 really special thing.





Maximize your day. Most parks open their gates 1/2-hour to 1-hour before the stated times. Not all of the rides will be open, but you'll be maximizing your ticket purchase. Concerning ground transportation, it can take longer to get around the property than you think, plan accordingly.





-Have Fun!|||Get water instead of soft drinks|||Go to local gas stations. They sell it for cheap. Also stay longer! It is a wwaaayy better deal!|||umm....dont look at the amusment park even! L0L jk...welll...u could like only go on 10 rides? or less? ur soo lucky! good luck!|||Get water no soft drinks, only get a couple souveniers they charge a lot, if you are going to more than one park keep the ticket itt save u money.|||Just watch. Don't ride on anything and buy drinks for local shop. :D|||bring a water bottle and fill it up at drinking fountains, they are everywhere a bathroom is also pack a lunch and rent a locker to put it in or just do the backpack thing. Don't just pack a crappy sandwich pack a good lunch so you are even more excited to eat it than greasy amusement park food, that's the way to go!|||Hands down the best way to save money is on the tickets.
