What are good ways to save money?

i have big problem with saving money. i can never save any money. when i go to school i never bring money because i know i'll spend it all right away, but then if i don't bring money i never have food. and if i try to hide my money ill just know where it is and get it and spend it how can i save money successfully? any tips or suggestions?|||Saving money is a lot easier when you are saving for something specific. Think of something expensive you want to buy in the future with your savings - a car, a vacation... whatever. But make it something really specific. Find pictures of what you want, in magazines, or on the internet. For example, if it's a vacation, pick the perfect place that you want to go, and find lots of pictures of the place. If you find the pictures online, print them out. Tape those pictures to a box or envelope, and keep your savings in that envelope. It's a lot harder to "steal" your savings from a specific goal, especially when you can literally see that goal when you go to get the money.





This can also work if you put your money in a bank account. Just take the pictures and wrap them around your ATM card or your box of withdrawal slips. This way you won't be able to take out any money without thinking about what the money is really for. Prepare your food at home the night before you go to school or just take a fruit with you.





Use an empty water bottle and fill it with clean water from your house. refrigerate it and take it to school.
